Family pics at Point J., and 12/52

Our trip to Point Jerningham yesterday resulted in photos of more than just Point Jerningham. Humour me while I show them off...

There's nothing like a big space and and a bit of wind in your hair.

A portrait of my children every week for a year.

Esther: likes to stand behind me on my chair and flip her head from side to side, popping over my shoulders to say "Hi Mamma, hi mamma." She has also learnt to say "Nah" from Reuben instead of the much nicer "No Mamma."

Reuben: Esther has a habit of crying for about a minute each morning around 7am, then dropping back to sleep. Reuben, dutifully waiting in his room until he's allowed to get up, calls out things like, "It's OK darling darling" and "don't worry baby baby."

Look at Esther, posing like someone from 1915.

I gave Reuben the camera! Photos get taken of me about once every 6 months. I don't need photos of me, but it will be sad to look back one day and notice there was noone to take photos of me. It looks like we have a solution.

Outstanding work Reuben!

And then I remembered the timer. Of course!

Esther's hard-core initiation in to water fountains.

Love that little hand.

His father's face.

  1. Wow-great work Reuben! Love the photos. Looks like you had lots of fun. So nice to see the sunshine too - it's been grey and dark and thundery and autumnal here for the past few weeks - feels like forever since the summer already!
