Finding beauty - Bought flowers ii

Ranunculas this week. We could get quite used to the florist that is conveniently next door to the supermarket.

Flowers should never come wrapped in anything other than clear cellophane. And perhaps white tissue or brown paper.

  1. Beautiful ... and I completely agree with you about the clear cellophane, the flowers are the star and definitely need no distraction!

I remember visiting my Mother-in-law's tiny, rather dark flat in London. She spoke of regularly buying a bunch of flowers after a long day at work and how it lifted her mood and the atmosphere of her tiny abode. I've never forgotten that - that a few beautiful stems seem to bring a disproportionate amount of enjoyment and beauty with them.
